How to Request an Injectable Refill in the App

Updated this week

Injectables are prescribed with 1–2 refills to ensure your medication doesn’t expire before you finish your doses. The first shipment is sent immediately after the prescription is approved in a video consult. You can request a refill for your injectable medication directly in the Mindbloom app once eligible.

Notes:

  • You still need to see a clinician every 6 doses for injectables.

  • After completing all six sessions with injectables, a new consultation with your clinician will be required to reassess progress and determine next steps.

  • Tablets do not have refills.

When You Can Request a Refill

2 days before you’re eligible

A banner will appear in the app letting you submit your refill request early. You'll also receive a notification when it's available.

Once you’re eligible

Once eligible, the banner will update so you can request your refill immediately.

After You Request a Refill

After requesting a refill, you’ll receive traciking updates via:

  • The shipment tracker in your app

  • Email notifications

  • Text messages

Why You Can’t Request a Refill Sooner

Due to federal regulations for controlled substances, pharmacies can only fill refills once the previous supply is nearly finished. We notify you as soon as your current prescription is eligible for additional shipment.
