Your clinician will determine the safest and most effective form of ketamine for you — either injectables or tablets — during your initial consult.
We offer two treatment options that both provide neuroplastic benefits and meaningful experiences, but differ in how they’re administered:
Mindbloom Injectables: Subcutaneous (under the skin) injections in the abdomen using a tiny needle. Injectables typically have a faster, more consistent onset because of how the medicine enters the body.
Mindbloom Tablets: Small, rapidly dissolving oral tablets that are held in your mouth and disposed of after 7 minutes.
Here’s how your route of administration (ROA) is determined:
Clinical assessment: Your clinician reviews your medical history, health status, and treatment goals to decide which route is safest and most effective for you.
Safety first: While most clients (about 75%) are approved for injectables, approval depends on your individual health profile. Factors like past reactions, medical conditions, or medications can influence this decision.
Effectiveness: Both routes are effective when used as prescribed. Your clinician will recommend the one that best fits your body’s needs and your progress over time.
Collaborative discussion: You can share your preferences during your consult. Your clinician will explain their recommendation and ensure you’re comfortable with your treatment plan.
Your clinician’s goal is to balance effectiveness, safety, and your personal goals — helping you get the best results from your Mindbloom experience.
Can you switch between tablets and injectables?
Yes, your route of administration can be adjusted during future video consults based on your progress, experiences, and clinical assessment. Please note that this will require going through our titration protocol again to ensure you know how to take the new medication and get to the an effective dosage.
