How far apart should I complete sessions?

New Client Programs

Mindbloom’s new client program lasts about 3 months and includes 6 treatment sessions. Sessions start closer together and gradually space out as you progress. This cadence has been shown in clinical studies to maximize effectiveness.

  • First session: Schedule within 7–10 days of approval (this allows time to receive your Bloombox and medication).

  • Sessions 1–3: Recommended 3–7 days apart.

  • Sessions 4–6: Recommended 7–10 days apart.

These are recommendations, not strict rules. You can adjust based on your availability and needs in consultation with your clinician.

Renewal Program

For clients in ongoing treatment programs, sessions can be spaced out further. Many choose a biweekly or monthly cadence. Your clinician will discuss optimal timing with you during renewal consults.


What if I need to delay a session? Will I lose progress?

No. While weekly spacing is recommended early on, sessions are still effective even if they’re further apart. A delay will not erase your progress. You can continue your healing journey without starting over.
