Can I use my insurance?

Information about insurance reimbursement for clients

Updated over 2 weeks ago

That’s a great and common question—one that’s essential for making an informed decision about your treatment.

Mindbloom goes above and beyond to support clients in getting reimbursed through insurance, HSA, or FSA. To determine if you're in a state where treatment can be rendered and insurance can be billed, start by completing our Candidate Survey. It’ll confirm your eligibility based on your location.

Already completed the survey?
Next, call your insurance provider to ask about out-of-network reimbursement. Specifically, inquire about:

  • 45-minute initial consult – CPT code 99204

  • 25-minute medication management consult – CPT code 99214

If your plan supports out-of-network reimbursement, you’ll be able to submit an insurance claim using a Superbill—a detailed, itemized receipt we’ll provide after you complete your clinician consult and first session with your dedicated Guide. Clients may receive up to $650 towards their 6 session program, and more with the purchase of 12 or 18 session programs.

And if you're using an HSA or FSA, this Superbill can also be submitted to your benefits administrator if needed for reimbursement. If you need a letter of medical necessity, your clinician will also provide you with one.

And remember: if you're not a medical fit for treatment, you’ll receive 100% of your money back.

The best way to find out if you're eligible for treatment is to complete our Candidate Survey. You can click here to get started right now.
